ABOUT AUDITLINK
Bridging Education, Profession, and Industry.
AuditLink was established to bridge the gap between higher education and the professional world by connecting universities, students, professionals, and organizations through practical learning, industry collaboration, and career development opportunities.
The auditing profession faces a growing challenge. While accounting graduates continue to enter the workforce every year, many are not fully prepared for the practical demands of professional audit engagements. At the same time, public accounting firms experience high employee turnover and invest significant time and resources to train new hires before they can contribute effectively.
These challenges create a gap between higher education and professional practice — a gap that affects students, firms, and the sustainability of the profession itself.
AuditLink was founded on 2025 with a clear purpose: to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice in auditing.
The idea emerged from firsthand experience in public accounting. Through our experience in the profession, we observed a recurring challenge: public accounting firms often struggled to find candidates who were ready to contribute from day one, while many accounting graduates entered the workforce without sufficient practical exposure.
At the same time, young auditors frequently moved between firms, making it difficult for organizations to build stable and experienced teams. Firms were therefore required to invest significant time and resources in training new hires before they could perform effectively.
These observations reinforced our belief that the gap between education and professional practice could not be solved by either universities or firms alone. It required a bridge.
